Hysteresis Control in Pump-Controlled Systems—A Way to Reduce Mode-Switch Oscillations in Closed and Open Circuits

There is growing interest in using electric motors as prime movers mobile hydraulic systems. This increases the so-called pump-controlled systems, where each actuator has its own drive unit. Such architectures are primarily appealing applications energy efficiency important and recuperation relevant. An issue with systems is, however, mode-switch oscillations which can appear when pressure levels system close to switching condition. In this paper, mode-switching behavior of different generalized closed open circuit configurations investigated. The results show that choice sense pressures a huge impact on behavior. They also that, if sensing components properly placed, circuits perform very similarly, but still occur all circuits. Active hysteresis control suggested solution effectiveness analyzed. outcome from analysis shows active reduce risk for significantly.
